International Legal Persons:

States and the nature
of Statehood.


- Research Papers hand in date (legal cases/country). This session will follow up with students’ case studies depicting real situations and related developmental problems, followed by a discussion and exchanged period.

International organizations: UN, OAS, NGOS’, Transnational Corporations, Individuals.


There will be a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. Each student is allowed to participate based on his/her written pleadings arguing both the applicant and respondent positions of the case.
